Thor, a floaty wing

Why would anyone throw a perfectly good airplane off a cliff?

Very long... maybe like 2 ~ 3 weeks.
They did a good job shipping it but DHL took a long time to deliver it inside US

Just finished mine and flew it at Bayfront Park this morning.

My Thor weighs 260g +/- 5g, including 14g of nose weight to bring CG to the recommended position. I am going to reduce the amount of nose weight to move CG back.

(Kitchen scale was not very precise, but when I placed Thor on top of my postal scale the wings covers up the reading. Any recommendations for a precise scale with a reasonably large tray?)

Thor is indeed very floaty. !!:) However, I found myself hopeless in over-the-shoulder hand-launch. :( I think I will fly it mainly on slope.

Should I launch it with the momentary launch preset on elevator, like with a DLG?

Without nose weights, both Thors actually weigh about the same.

The depron winglets of mine are covered in colored tape, main wings in a mixture of colored and clear tapes, and depron ailerons uncovered.

As usual, Alice does the artworks for my planes. !!:)

Once the CG of Thor is nailed, I will replace the blue masking tape with the transparent one.

(I have not yet taken the Wabbit out to fly. For now all I can say is that the build quality is outstanding.)
