Looking for some training/guidance!

Postby rkathner » Wed Oct 19, 2011 1:23 pm

Hi All,

I am a bit of newb to this whole game (though I can see why it gets addictive!!), and am looking to get some more formal training.

I've been putting around a local Santa Clara park with my ever trusty Champ, and also my lil UM T28, and have just splashed out on a Parkzone T28. I also have a Dx6i xmitter.

I think I have most of the basics down - I'm cool with orientation, control surfaces etc...but I would like to get more comfortable with the bigger plane with some guidance/buddy boxing - especially for safety reasons!

If anyone is willing to help me out, it would be truly appreciated!

Look forward to meeting you guys soon!

Cheers,

Rob

Rob,

Welcome to the bayrc. I have helped people learn to fly in the past. I also help with preflight check / maiden for new planes.

If you have a spektrum radio, I can buddy chord (have one with me) with you on Sundays and sometimes on Saturdays.

Almost everyone at baylands park is very friendly and helpful. All you need to do is ask.

Happy Flying !!
