New hobby shop in town!

Postby Don Cohn » Tue Jun 12, 2012 7:42 pm

I found a new hobby shop in Sunnyvale today. They have a limited number of R/C items to choose from but the store is HUGE! There is potential here... They just need to build up their inventory. Right now they have a bunch of different R/C heli's, batteries, connectors and a very limited selection of servos.

They have stores all over the place and are opening more in the future...

Oh yeah, almost forgot, the name of the place is Fry's and they have a website: http://www.frys.com

Yeah, I saw this a few weeks ago.
The stuff looks very cheap and is over priced if you ask me.

I had a discussion with about Frys carrying servos and such. People who go to Frys for such items don't realize that real hobby shops carry the same stuff or better for way less. BUT... if they are going to Frys for stuff and need to buy a servos for a project, most people won't know any better and think $27 for a digital MG 9G servo is cheap...
"I love it when a plan comes together..." much like my RC plane kits =)
