Wow...

That's cool... It seems to have a much better glide path than I would have expected. I can't wait to see Pete's now...

Nick, thanks for the link. It's great footage.

Well what can I say, after watching the video, I laughed, I cried. After a quiet moment, I collected myself realzing that I'll be able to see one flying up close at Baylands this Sunday. Look forward to seeing everyone Sunday (and possibly Saturday)

Update.......Well its saturday afternoon and i am bench testing the sonic liner.
I have found that the c.g. is way off, i had made up a one foot long direct connected battery lead. This proved to be to short.
Due to the 480 motors my battery pack will have to be mounted just rear of the nose.
About one half hours work to dremal the counterbore and to make a new battery extention.
The second thing wrong with it was major glitching.
This was due to the elevator servo lead running parallel to those battery leads.
The solution here was to run the leads out of the bottom of the fuse.
You guys and gals should hear the beast at bay with the motors running
YOW..sounds like a pack of hornets on caffine!!!!!!!!!!!
I had made a statement that the pack was 1800 mlp
but i clear heatshrank it and it is a 1300 mlp.
So much the lighter.........Back to the the mods.......See ya in the morning........sonic pete p.s. the ailerons need one sixteenth of up trim each as they are both down that much now.....more work....er...tweaking

Congrats to Pete. It flew but i missed it. He sounded like he was going to tweak a few things before the next flight... I'll be gone this weekend, but should be back by the next one (hope the weather will be nice then). Good luck with the mods Pete.

Take care,
Mehrdad

Yes i need to dial in some up in the ailerons as they are down now. And some up trim in the canards, really down trim. I had the canards reversed and due to seeing another canard plane i corrected it. The props were also on backwards and thanks to kasra i fixed that also. I will be moving my gas hanger to a bigger one this weekend so you wont miss any thing. I will see you in a few weeks, thanks for your intrest.......Mr. Pete :D :D
