Calling All Sabre/Mig Pilots

Postby RocketRob » Tue Jul 11, 2006 10:40 am

Brian has already made this duct from fiberglass.
I'll give him a head's up to bring one out sat.
The piece of duct he is re-creating weighs apx 2.5gms (depron). His first attempt in glass was over 10gms, his second one was 10gms and he has one curing in the mold which has carbon reinforcement over lighter glass cloth which he is hoping to hit in the 6gm range. Brian has offered to donate this light one to the cause and one of us will bring it out for you on sat am.

I called Marcos and he was to get a very limited few aluminium spinners to test......might be persuaded to part w/ one??

Now a little fun

F-4J of Randy Cunningham duels with
the MIG of NVA Ace Toon.
Cunningham would win this duel for his 5th kill.

(BTW, this is such a stupid myth... like the
myth of the Area 51... There is no such name
As TOON in that native language, not
even till this momen in time, Posibly it is "TOMB", not "TOON")

The Irony is both of them, VICTOR and LOSER,
one ended up in HELL, other ended up in JAIL.
What the hell are we heading to...

Been pretty quiet in here .......

I guess the impending doom for the sabres brought about by the threat of the new super mig has the pilots piddeling in their flight suits
