BayRC Profiles: Rancho San Antonio

- Page 2 -

When you first go to the park, it pays to spend some time watching other flyers. In addition to observing excellent flying, you can see how they handle takeoffs and landings and learn where the wind plays tricks. Don't be afraid to ask for advice: most flyers are glad to help.

As is true with other parks, weekends get busy. Parking is a competitive sport then and the flight line gets crowded.

To get to RSA from I-280, north or south, take the Foothill Boulevard exit and go south on Foothill Boulevard approximately 0.2-mile to Cristo Rey Drive. Turn right on Cristo Rey Drive, continue for about 1 mile to the traffic circle and turn left into the County Park entrance. Look for guys flying airplanes.
